Promatix’s Linealyzer® measuring system has been specially designed to simplify monitoring in a variety of production areas as a basis for ongoing productivity increases. The system takes a two-pronged approach with an “online monitoring” mode and a “statistics” mode.

In “online monitoring”, the current state of the production area is displayed on a monitor that is intelligently placed for maximum readability. Various information about the manufacturing shifts and orders can be displayed as required by the customer. The operator can assess the current status as well as the ongoing progress of the shift at a glance.

In “statistics” mode, standardized reports are compiled from the database for different areas. Customized reports can be generated for individual production areas as required. Together with the online monitoring, the reports form an objective basis for CIP projects.

The Linealyzer collects the basic data via specially developed sensors which monitor the flow of materials before and after critical production processes. The production times, downtimes, delays and number of workpieces are automatically collected and processed using a data controller and then transmitted to a database.

The operator logs the equipment as well as the reasons for downtimes via a user-friendly data entry form. The result is a comprehensive overview of the events in the form of a digital shift log.

The Linealyzer hardware and software form an independent unit. Multiple external users can access the system as required. Logged data can also be exported to other systems using a defined interface.

The Linealyzer was developed as a universal measuring system and is compatible with very different types of machines. The required information is collected without any interface with the respective machine control systems.

As production lines often include very different machines, acquired at varying times from a number of different manufacturers, the Linealyzer is the best way of maintaining reliable and comprehensive monitoring. The Linealyzer can be installed in just a few hours during operation and first results can be obtained after just one shift.
